Grawl Bombing: The Next Generation [Video]
A few days ago Reikai and I were talking about grawl bombing. We both noticed that its significantly more difficult that it used to be because of:
1. The stance bow no longer reduces damage from wands
2. EoE's range has been nerfed so that it either requires very close placement to the hill or on the hill where you confront the grawl
3. Oath shot has a longer recharge time
For a long time now I really haven't done much grawl bombing (since the release of factions) because I wasn't too concerned about skill points. Now with the release of Nightfall nearing, I decided to take up grawl bombing again. After a day of practice, I was able to do it more than half the time but it was still noticably more difficult that before and also required a bit of luck. Screw the luck if pekpek ever spawned though.
Anyway, I noticed in someones post in another thread that they farm grawl using a glyph of energy, serpents quickness, sliver armor, and armor of earth build with oath shot. I thought to myself, why not turn this into a grawl bombing build? So here it is. And thanks to Lagunacid for the idea of farming grawl with sliver armor. Implementing it into the EoE bomb has worked wonders. Not only is it MUCH easier to stay alive, but killing grawl seems to go even faster than before. I recommend the high quality video if you've got the bandwidth for it.
The new and improved grawl bombing (high quality - 32 megs version):
http://files.filefront.com/QueefPwnG.../fileinfo.html
Lower quality version (about 12.8 megs):
http://files.filefront.com/QueefPwnG.../fileinfo.html
The old method (still works if you want to try it):

For those of you new to grawl bombing, the location is just outside port sledge in Witman's Folly.
Warning: Try to stay away from the crones, especially if they spawn on the hill as they will use chillblaines on your armor of earth and sliver armor.
EDIT: You are right. Not sure what happened as I copied and pasted the same thread from gwonline. Anyway, I think I've fixed the links. Try it again and let me know if it works now.

Youtube and Google dont give any Guild Wars picture justice. :\
Anyway, yea, It works...But like you said, They fixed the EoE range glitch (it no longer "jumps" out of range to kill the caster grawls), and being able to survive there depends ALOT on what boss spawns.

Hence the need for a new build. My R/E build can survive any boss with just about any spawn. Wupwup (monk boss) still gives the most problem with healing seed, but its a lot easier to tank it out with this build than the old R/N build. In the past, pekpek (ele boss) gave a lot of problems. I find pekpek to be pretty easy now that I started using this build.

Nice one, I had almost forgotten about that... Ill have to try it.
Im sure a variant could work on a E/R, but I think you had the right idea there.

so the EoE nerf did have a downside. That looks like fun but now it wont work unless you lay a trap first and have the warriors run at you and take damage while you hit the casters. Then maybe it would get them below the required health for them to take damage.
